Machinefabriek Goudkuil bv was formed back in 1910, originally supplying a laundry machinery repair service in the Apeldoorn area. The region soon sprouted many laundries each taking advantage of the excellent quality and softness of the water from the network of small canals that criss-cross the area.
During the Second World War Goudkuil began to build new laundry machinery, but because this was a very difficult time and there was a shortage of materials they devoted more energy to buying used equipment for rebuilding in their own workshop.
By the 1950's Goudkuil were selling rebuilt machinery all over the Netherlands, which at that time boasted around 1500 laundries. Owing to rationalisation in the 1960's however this number was reduced to around 250 increasing the necessity for Goudkuil to develop an export market.
Goudkuil rebuilds all kinds of laundry machines from 15 kg to complete tunnel washer systems with the capacity of 1600 kgs per hour. At this time dryers, presses ikroners and all types of equipment are included in the production programme.

OUR REBUILT MACHINES are truly remanufactured. The first stage is to complete the dismantling to component parts for full inspection. Then all unserviceable parts are replaced with new design and known weaknesses of the machines are getting modified. At this stage any special customer requirements are built in before final re-assembly. Electrical systems will totally be replaced by modern PLC and microprocessor systems. After finishing and painting, the machines also are tested prior to delivery on our own crane wagon transport and are commissioned by our engineers.
